Headboard and Footboard Brackets
If attaching a headboard or footboard to your Sleep Number® bed foundation and are using Foundation Legs , a bracket set is necessary. One bracket set is required to attach a headboard and one set to attach a footboard. This item attaches with bolts. You may order a single set with your Foundation Legs purchase by selecting "Foundation Legs w/ One Bracket Set" on the Foundation Legs product page.

"I bought this bracket to bolt up my existing headboard to my new Sleepnumber C3 queen bed.
Just as with the rest of the bed itself, the bracket itself required not a single tool to install, using the two existing bolts and wingnuts securing the legs at the head of the bed.
Of course, I did require tools to tighten the four 5/16" bolts I bought to fasten the headboard itself to the brackets.
Even taking my time, I had the entire thing done in less than a half hour.
The brackets appear to be decent quality steel, and the headboard is as rigidly mounted as I could ask."

Headboard/Footboard Brackets Caution

"Just wanted to let people know that these brackets are "bolt-on" and not "hook-on". If you are like me, then you've never owned anything but "hook-on" type brackets and were unaware that they also came in other forms. I was a little dissapointed that the description on this website makes no mention of this (hook or bolt). Needless to say, I have a great bed with no head/footboard until the correct brackets arrive.
On the up-side, because the description is lacking I was given the correct brackets free of charge."
