Headboard Brackets

Pros: Pillows, Mattress Pads/Comfort Layers, Sheets
" Brackets for the FLEX-FIT Bed Plus are not shown on the website and have to be ordered thru a 3rd party manufacture. At a cost of Approx $40 dollars I think they should be more visible on line. "

Date:November 23, 2013
" Since i had a nice head/footboard set i ordered the brackets. The brackest came without screws and did not line up with the hole of the set, leaving me to only be able to use one screw on wach siđe, making the bed unstable and starting to cause the plattform to fall apart. Not šire what. To do. "

Thanks for sharing this situation with us. I'm so sorry for the confusion! Our brackets are meant be paired with our foundation legs because most bedframes already come standard with a way to attach headboards or footboards to the frame. Our brackets attach to the outside of your base with the same bolts you use to install your foundation legs, which is the reason our bracket set doesn’t come with additional bolts. I’m sorry to hear your base was damaged in the process of installing your brackets, and I hope you’ll give us a call at 1-800-472-7185 anytime from 8 AM to 8 PM CT Monday through Friday or from 8:30 to 5 PM CT on Saturday and so we can assist you with this situation. We hope to hear from you soon!

Headboard brackets for Flexfit Plus
Date:September 28, 2013
" I purchased a P5 mattress and Flexfit Plus adjustable bed base. I ordered the headboard brackets when it became apparent they would be needed to attach a brass headboard.
Beware! The installation instructions for mounting the headboard brackets to the adjustable bed base are horrible. Pictures don't match text or hardware, and attachment points are indicated where there are none. The problem seems to be that the brackets differ depending upon which FitFlex frame is used and the size of the bed. Instead of offering "one size fits all" instructions, specific instructions should be provided for each base/bed size combination.
I ultimately did get the brackets installed and the headboard attached, but it was a four hour job to get everything attached properly and tightened, plus one trip to the hardware store . "

Easy to install
Date:April 2, 2011
" I bought this bracket to bolt up my existing headboard to my new Sleepnumber C3 queen bed.
Just as with the rest of the bed itself, the bracket itself required not a single tool to install, using the two existing bolts and wingnuts securing the legs at the head of the bed.
Of course, I did require tools to tighten the four 5/16" bolts I bought to fasten the headboard itself to the brackets.
Even taking my time, I had the entire thing done in less than a half hour.
The brackets appear to be decent quality steel, and the headboard is as rigidly mounted as I could ask.

Headboard/Footboard Brackets Caution
Date:November 5, 2008
" Just wanted to let people know that these brackets are "bolt-on" and not "hook-on". If you are like me, then you've never owned anything but "hook-on" type brackets and were unaware that they also came in other forms. I was a little dissapointed that the description on this website makes no mention of this (hook or bolt). Needless to say, I have a great bed with no head/footboard until the correct brackets arrive.
On the up-side, because the description is lacking I was given the correct brackets free of charge.
