"I have purchased a second set of Lyocell sheets since I loved the first set. But the second set is a year old. This set is really thin with holes in them. I am highly disappointed in the quality of them. For the price I paid they should last longer then a year!"

Can't Believe the Money Wasted

"I bought three sets of these sheets, because after a week of sleeping on the first set I purchased, I wanted others to switch out. I change my sheets every week, and wash them alone. I have not even had my sheets for a year, and they are already fading, shredding, and hold body heat badly. There are times I will wake up in a puddle of sweat in an otherwise cool bedroom. The middle of the fitted sheet can almost be seen through it is wearing down that quickly, and that is on all three sets. I wish I had saved my money and just purchased the BH&G sheets from Wal-Mart. I was too quick to give them my first review of excellent."

"I have 3 sets of these. At first they were great! Loved them! Then they lost their softness and now they are tearing. Only been a year. I have sheets I picked up in the bargain bin at Target that lasted 10 years. For $200+ a set, I would expect better. Oh well, lesson learned."

"I was extremely impressed with the initial quality of these sheets. It felt like sleeping on a cloud! However, the fabric is thin and wears out very easily. I have several holes in the fitted sheet from normal turing at night. I wanted to purchase another fitted sheet only, but they only sell in the package. In addition, there are no guarantees. Once you buy it is yours for what ever short period it will be. I think Sleep Number needs to address their products and make their customers come back, or they will go somewhere else."

Extreme Luxury that doesnt last

"I am ordering my 3rd set of these sheets. Unlike Egyptian Cotton which lasts forever, these sheets have about a 12 to 18 month life if you wash them every other week and change the out with another set. I love them though They are the best for sleeping on. Best I ever had. The luxury is just short lived."

"We purchased these sheets after purchasing a split king bed as we needed the special fit. Right from the package they felt great; then I washed and dried them per directions. Could not believe the lint that came off and they felt very thin and limp. Within one week they were 'pilling' on the bottom sheet & underside of top sheets. After 2nd washing they still gave off a ton of lint and still felt uncomfortable with 'pills'. Ordered another set of split king sheets from an online vendor and exchanging these with Sleep Number. for a different quality #trying the performance this time#. Sleep Number Customer Service is awesome, unfortunately cannot refund only exchange."

"Comfortable...yes. But that is it. First set were terribly wrinkled.
Sleep Number were very nice, send us a replacement set....
they are no better !!!! They look TERRIBLE !!!! They are sooooo
wrinkled....have tried different washing settings and drier settings,
but with NO improvement !!!! A very PREMIUM price, but with
bargain store quality !!!"

"Two years ago I purchased the King/Split and bought the top of the line sheets. Their soft alright, but rip, really rip, straight up the center of the fitted bed sheet. Now I have been told I can not get just a single, I must again pay the full price for an entire set....I love the bed, but don't purchase the sheets."

"We have been sleeping on these sheets now for two weeks and I am in love. They are so soft! We bought a whole new bedroom set and I thought these sheets would be a great splurge. We did get them during a sale, I'm not sure I could swallow the full price tag because I'm pretty frugal but it would be very tempting. In the store, my husband wanted the In Balance sheets but now he's telling me to get more of these :)"

"I just purchased a set of lyocell sheets for our extended queen sleep number bed 3 months ago. Even when alternating with other sets of sheets, the fitted sheet is now so thin and worn that you can see through it and a huge hole wore through. They are so expensive that I would expect greater wear out of them. This is the second set that has done the same thing. I don't believe I will ever purchase another set from Sleep Number."

"We purchased a set of these for $150 and put them on our bed in January. They were washed twice in about 4 weeks. One of the fitted sheets is all pilled up. I contacted Sleep Number and they refuse to replace them or give me my money back. When you spend this much money for a bed and then for the sheet they should be much higher quality. Poor quality and poor customer service from Sleep Number!"

"We bought these sheets for our split king Sleep Number Bed which we love, love, love! I have washed the sheets at least 50 times now and they are just as wonderfully soft as they were when we bought them. For those who are getting pills on theirs our salesman told us never use fabric softner or dryer sheets because it will cause the sheets to pill. This should be in big bold letters on the package because I would have used both if not told several times by our salesman not to. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the sheets are SUPER wrinkled when you pull them out of the dryer. I haven't tried ironing them, but I can't say that I would even if it did take the wrinkles out. I'm not sure if I would buy another set or not yet just because they were a little too expensive for me. I'm going to try non Sleep Number Bed sheets and maybe that will change my mind."

"Loved the feel of the sheets when first put on the bed, however after the first wash they were limp and wrinkled. Just finished the second wash, on delicate, cold and no bleach. They look worse than before. Also the queen set came with king size pillow cases. I've never gotten a queen set that didn't come with standard size cases. For the price...a very poor product. Very disappointed."

"I've owned an adjustable Select Comfort bed for about 6 years now. I have had "issues' with the bed which are totally separate from the sheets. When I purchased the bed I also purchased two sets of sheets as I hate having to wait to remake the bed. In addition I also purchased the required bed cover to "ensure my purchase". To date my bed only holds air when it wants to and the top has slid over like a cake that was frosted while warm. The sheets have been stellar until a month ago when my husband realized that his foot had gone thru to the mattress cover. The rip was about 2 foot long across and about 1/2 way thru that was a 2nd rip of about 8" up and down. At no time did I see any wear in these sheets; it just "happened". To my surprise I was able to machine stitch the sheet in both directions and repair it. I've just put it back on the bed and it fits (PHEW)! First $200 per set of sheets is WAY TOO MUCH for this to have even been an issue; I've been married 34 years and have tossed out much older and cheaper sheets with no damage and here is an expensive set only 6 years old and only used every other week. If ANYONE knows of someplace else to purchase these DEEP POCKET sheets; let me know; I'm in. (need the pocket deep enough to hold both the mattress AND foundation."

"Got mine less than two years ago. Super soft and comfy. Elastic started to unravel within 3-4 months. Had to get rid of because of sheets getting fine rips in them a month ago. I have a new washer so it was not hard on them they just did not last long enough for what I paid.

"I generally like thick cotton hotel sheets but lately I've wanted something a bif softer. I purchased these sheets on sale for my king size sleep number bed - I love them! They are so soft. I haven't slept on any sheets that are this smooth and soft. They are also very light and thin - much better for summertime. I haven't owned them long enough to find out if they last."
