"The elastic straps are all that try to hold the mattress cover in place, there is no fabric going around the sides of the mattress or under it. As soon as I put the pad on, it slid out of place."

The anchor bands in each corner of our Comfort Layers normally hold these products securely to your mattress, and I'm so sorry it isn't working that way for you! If you haven’t already done so, I recommend taking a close look at your True Silver™ Layer to see if any of the anchor bands appear to be loose or if the pad seems like it’s too large for your bed and giving us a call at 1-800-472-7185 in either case so we can look into a replacement for you. If the pad looks like it’s in good condition and you’re still within your 30 day exchange period, you might want to consider exchanging it for one of our mattress pads to get a product with a more secure fit.
