"I enjoy a firm mattress but the wife likes a soft mattress. This bed accommodates both of us. We are both extremely happy with the mattress and we both think it is extremely comfortable. No complaints, would buy it again in a second."

M9 is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

"I've been sleeping on a tempur-pedic bed for the last couple of years and although I like how you sink into it at night it and it gives you a cozy fell it also felt like once you sunk in you couldn't move around freely and it was really dense. It felt like a block until it warmed up to your body. Both my Husband and I had become more and more uncomfortable in our tempur-pedic waking up with aches and pains and would complain but since our mattress wasn't more than 3 years old and was not cheap we didn't really want to purchase a new one. That all changed when we walked into sleep- number store in Woodland Hills Ca. First of all the sales people were great, not pushy and very accommodating to my four year old. Steve was the one who helped us and was great, actually everyone was very kind and friendly. We tried several beds some with memory foam and some without and because we were fearful of going back to a memory foam bed do to our last experience with our temper-pedic we decided on the I10 wich was by the most comfortable in the store. It did not have that sinking feeling. We placed our order and tried our bed for a couple of weeks and all though the bed was comfortable and we no longer woke up with aches and pains I actually missed that cozy feeling of sinking into the memory foam bed. So we did some research and found a sleep number store that had the M9 available to try because the store we purchased our I10 did not have the M9 in their store. We went and tried it out and fell in love with it and because we were in our 30 day trial we called customer service and traded it in. Well let me just say I'm so glad that we did. I'm not taking away from the I10 as it's a very comfortable bed, I'm just saying we should have stuck with what we preferred (the memory foam feel) in the first place. I can admit when I'm wrong,the problem was not the memory foam it was the sinking and getting stuck on the tempur-pedic but with the air mattress under the memory foam it gives you the support you need. You get the best of both worlds. You get that luxury sinking feeling without actually getting stuck in the bed.I can't say enough about out new M9 and the adjustable base. I feel like goldilocks who finally found a bed that was just right. Yes it was not a cheap purchase, no good mattress really is. However I feel it was money well spent. I'm pleased with the fact that I was able to fix a mistake that we made in choosing a totally different type of mattress out of fear of having that same old problem with memory foam issue. I'm so glad we ended up with the M9 it feels like sleeping on a cloud. I really love it and I love being able to adjust the support. Sleep number 45 feels perfect to me, I sleep like a baby and wake up well rested with no aches and pains. Another thing I would like to mention is how happy we are with our adjustable bed frame.............amazing!!!! I simply love being able to watch tv upright, use my laptop and tablet comfortably and not the mention the health benefits. I currently have a cold I'm all stuffy and last night I kept the head of my bed up and it helped me sleep and breath better. We got the split king which allows my Husband and I to adjust to different comfort levels. If your thinking of making a mattress purchase call around and make sure the store you choose has the models you're interested in available to try before making your finale decision. I was a major skeptic even after my Husbands parents said it was the best bed they had ever had. I secretly wanted to not like the bed as it was not a cheap bed and at the end of the day I gave in and can now say that I'm a big fan of sleep number and my M9 bed.

Delivery and set was fast and easy, the delivery guys were very professional. The took the time to explain everything and make sure they answered all my questions, they even put my linens on the bed.

Thanks to Steve and everyone at sleep number who provided great customer service. It's hard to come by a Mom and Pop business feel when purchasing from a large retail store. However Steve made our experience very personal. I highly recommend the Woodland Hills CA. store, they really are great."
